Telestrations

Have you ever enjoyed the telephone game as a child? The one where you whisper a phrase into someone’s ear and it makes its way around the circle changing as each person mishears the whispers interspersed with giggles. Somehow Santa has a big beard would morph into Sandra hates big balls and everyone would fall about in sugar induced hysterics.

Telestrations is a party game for 4 - 8 players where you will pass around drawings and try to guess what your fellow players have drawn. Which given that the drawings are timed might be very difficult. Each round you will draw a card and as a group will either choose “this side” or “that side”. One player will roll the die and you will try to draw that numbered clue whilst the timer counts down.

Once the time is up you flip over to the next page in the flip book and pass it to the player to your left. They will try to work out what you have drawn and write it on the following page and pass again to your left. Now without seeing anything that came before, they must draw from the most recent clue. So it continues until your pad makes it back to you. Then the hilarity ensues as you reveal how the clues got messed up so very badly.

This is a party game suitable for families, and groups of friends alike. If you enjoy laughing and don’t want anything with too much difficulty with infinite replayability then this could be the one for you.
