Caper: Europe is a two-player, head-to-head battle game that has you forming a crew of robbers, equipping them with the best gear and stealing epic loot from lavish locations. Part hand management, part drafting and part area-control, Caper: Europe is an entertainment amalgamation of genres that plays really briskly.

Battle across famous cities in Europe for paintings, relics and loot in this quirky game. Caper: Europe is over before you know it, but within this timeframe, you have juicy decisions to make, strategies to form and can pull off some very satisfying combo’s. Do you go for the control of an area? Do you beef up your crew? Or steal more treasure. Well, it depends on the locations, your hand of cards and the current board state. The tug-of-war feeling in Caper: Europe is ever present as you battle your opponent in each loot-filled location.

Along the lines of something like Schotten Totten, you play crew members to locations which do things like increase your majority in that location or give you some end game points or even combo with other cards and gear you equip them. Flamethrowers, suction cups and weird tools are rife, as are an array of quirky characters. Paired with this lovely production and art style, Caper: Europe is a rewarding two-player game that entertains both your mind and your eyes.

Caper: Europe has a simple yet rewarding rule-set, takes almost no time to set up and even after its short playtime, feels like you have played something satisfying. Its crime-filled, cartoony theme really comes out as you battle the player across the table. Ever wanted to form an uncanny crew to steal some priceless trinkets?
